AEEE Basic Details

The full form of AEEE is Amrita Engineering Entrance Examination which is conducted by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapheetham University every Year. AEEE is a National Level Entrance Exam conducted for admission for B.Tech Program offered by Amrita school of Engineering.


Amrita School of Engineering is one of the popular Engineering institute for candidates looking for admission in B.Tech/ B.E courses. Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham University has three campuses for Amrita School of Engineering are Bengaluru, Coimbatore, and Amritapuri campuses. check out few important date are  mentioned below.


Online Registration Starting  :-    Last Week Of Novemver 2019
Online Registration Ending    :-    Last Week Of March 2019
Admit Card Issue date               :-    2nd Week of April 2020
Computer based Test                  :-    3rd Week of April 2020
Pen and Paper based Test         :-    Last Week of April 2020
Result                                               :-    First Week of May 2020


Eligibility Criteria For AEEE

If a candidate want to appear in AEEE exam and take admission in Amrita School of Engineering,they have to fulfill the eligibility criteria set by Amrita University. Following eligibility criteria given below.

Educational Qualification : A candidate must be 12th (Science) pass out with minimum 60% marks in PCM and minimum 55% marks in each subject.
You are also eligible if you are appearing your 12th exam in same year of applying AEEE exam.

Note : Candidate must be born on and  after 1st July 1999.




Application Form

A candidate can fill AEEE 2020 application form online only. To fill form you need to visit official website of Amrita University and register after that you can fill application form.

Documents required during form fill-up
1. Upload one Scanned copy of Passport size photograph of maximum size 20KB and dimension- 3.5cm x 4.5cm.

2. Upload one scanned copy of your signature with maximum size 20KB and dimension- 3.5cm x 1.5cm.

Application Fees : For all candidate the application fees will be Rs. 1000 only and the mode of payment is through Credit card and Debit Card.

AEEE Slot Booking For Computer Based Test

A candidate who are appearing for AEEE Computer Based Test then you have to book a slot after application form fill-up. The slot booking process is done by online and it take place after application form submission. In this Slot Booking Process you have to choose Test center, Date, Time Slot. AEEE computer based test is conducted in five dates, every date has 3 slots. You can choose any date and time slot according to you comfort. Admit card of AEEE Computer Based Test is generated only after slot selection.


Admit Card

The Candidate can download there AEEE Admit Card from the official web site of Amrita University- https://www.amrita.edu/. For Computer Based Test mode admit card is only available of candidates who booked their slot. For Pen and Paper Based Test mode  (Offline) admit card will be issued separately (Can be download from official website). To download Admit Card Candidate need to login to official website by entering Application No. and Date of Birth.

***Note :- A candidate will be not allowed in examination hall without Admit Card. Any Id Proof (like Voter Id, Aadhaar Card, Driving License, etc) of candidate is also required to appear for examination.

The AEEE Admit Card Contains important information following things given below.
1.  Registration Number of Candidate
2.  Exam Date
3.  Examination Center
4.  Seat Number

AEEE Exam Pattern

AEEE is conducted by Amrita University in two different mode i.e. Computer Based Test(Online Mode) and Pen and Paper Based Test(Offline Mode). We have seen above the in schedule table that there are different days and slot time for online mode whereas only one day for offline mode. The Pattern of Exam is Totally same only the difference is one is online and other one is offline.

You will get a single question paper with all the question and the time period of exam is 2.5 hours (150 minutes). There are 3 section in question paper and each section contains different marks see the table below.

Note :  Each Correct answer will add 3 marks (+3)and each incorrect answer will deduct 1 marks(-1).

AEEE Result

Amrita University declare the AEEE Result only online on their official website . To check the result candidate need to enter the registration number date of birth and security code. Details available on the AEEE Result are Candidate Name , Roll number, Score, and All India Rank.

AEEE Counselling

The candidate Will score good rank (Within 20,000) in AEEE Exam and qualify for the admission in B.Tech invited by Amrita Universities for counselling. Candidate have to carry the call letter and documents during Counseling fir verification of document.

***Note : Candidate who applied through JEE Main and qualified the exam then you will get a call letter for Amrita University for counselling.

AEEE Syllabus

The Syllabus of AEEE exam is not more different than the syllabus of 11 and 12. Candidate have to study all the topics that is covered in 11th and 12th.
