Chemical Engineering is a field where we learn both the technical and scientific knowledge. If a candidate  wish to pursue Chemical Engineering course at any level you must need to have similar background. For  admission in Chemical Engineering at Undergraduate level, it is mandatory that a candidate have successfully completed their 10+2 with science (PCM).

If a candidate wants to take admission for Chemical Engineering in top Engineering Colleges of India at Undergraduate level, you must have have minimum 50% marks in 10+2 with science (PCM) and also have to score good rank in JEE Advance Exam.

For taking admission at Postgraduate level in top Engineering College it is mandatory that you must have a B.Tech/ B.E degree from Chemical Engineering or equivalent bachelor's degree course and must score good rank  in GATE Exam.

Chemical Engineering Course Details

For any Course there are many different levels of that courses in India B.Tech/B.E at Undergraduate level, M.Tech/ M.E at Postgraduate level, Ph.D level and Diploma course. So we will analyse all these levels regarding Chemical Engineering Course.

Undergraduate Level : Chemical Engineering Course at this level designed for the 12th pass out students from science (PCM) background. Chemical Engineering is 4 year B.Tech/B.E course at undergraduate level where you have to play with chemicals. Students have to learn theoretical as well as practical knowledge about chemical and there uses.

Postgraduate Level :  Chemical Engineering course at Postgraduate level is known as M.Tech/M.E in Chemical Engineering. M.tech/ M.E is 2 year course where students mainly gain practical knowledge and practical of the theoretical concepts that studied in B.Tech in Chemical Engineering. This course is mainly for the Higher study after B.Tech.

Ph.D level : A candidate can pursue Ph.D in Chemical Engineering after M.Tech in Chemical Engineering. At this level  you you have to apply all you concepts, practice in research in real life.

Diploma Courses : There are various diploma courses starting from 3 months to 3 years the motive of this course is to provide some specific knowledge which is not available in regular Chemical Engineering Course.
